Lt. Col. Jean L. Wood Born June 13, 1917. Graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma, and the University of Washington. He joined the Army in 1941 as a Lieutenant. During World War II he served in combat in North Africa, In Italy, and was in the initial landing on Normandy. He was taken prisoner and was interned in Posnen Prison in Poland for almost a year. He escaped and returned home in June, 1945. His next tour of duty was in Panama. Returning to the U.S. he was head of Armed Services Radio in Washington, D.C. He received a masters Degree in Mass Communication from Columbia University. From there he went to the Far East where he served in Japan and in combat in Korea. He returned for Korea to become Aide-decamp to the Army Chief of Staff for two years. Next he served as Military Assistant to the Secretary of the Army, in which position he was the Action Officer for the Army-McCarthy hearings. He had a heart attack in July, 1954 and was retired for the service. While working for his PhD at Stanford University, he was Associate Professor of Speech until his death, January 17, 1959. His ashes are scattered in the Mountains he loved.

Donald C. Lambert Born in Yakima County, Washington on October 16, 1911. He worked as a Foreman of Warehouse Packing Rooms in Naches and Tieton, Washington. His main interest was diesel machinery. He studied and became an expert diesel mechanic. This work took he and his family to Fairfield, Coulee City, Odessa and Davenport, Wash. Next he worked in the mines at Metaline for ten years, and then in Montana during the construction of Libby Dam. Don was a family man, clean living and honest. He always was active in the Assembles of God Church, as Secretary, Board Member, or Sunday School Teacher wherever he and his family lived. He did a little hunting, but mostly enjoyed hiking and canoeing on the Metaline River. He was killed in a mine accident on July 20, 1973, and is buried in Metaline, Washingon.

Albert Benoni Cutler . Born at Magnolia, Iowa on April 13, 1866. He was the son of early pioneer families. His father was born on the frontier in Michigan as the Cutler family worked westward; his mother, Violet Hall, was born on the frontier in Ohio as the hall family worked westward form Pennsylvania. He farmed in Iowa until 1889, when he went to Tacoma for two years. He went back to Iowa and continued farming until 1898. At that time he returned to the Northwest where he settled in Yakima County. Here he started burying, developing and selling land while he worked as Foreman for the Sanger, the Olsen, and the Thompson Fruit Companies. He was a vice-president and stockholder of the latter. The family lived in Buena and in Yakima, eventually moving to a ranch in parker Heights (which still is owned by a member of the family.) “Ben” was a School Board Member when his children were young. He died in July, 1942 and is buried in Yakima, Washington.

Phoebe Ann (Martin) Cutler. Born in Whitman County, Washington, in 1883. She was a grand daughter of Pioneer J.C. Northrup who came to the Northwest Territory shortly after Whitman arrived, and Pioneer F.M. Martin. She grew up in the Palouse country. Married to “Ben” Cutler on December 23, 1903. She managed the kitchens for the large crews of workmen who seasonally came to the ranches where her husband was Foreman. After her family of six children were raised and her husband died in 1942, sh lived in Seattle and worked as a practial nurse in King County Hospital for may years. She passed away in 1970 and is buried at Yakima, Washington.

Lisa Marie Mackey. Born May 21, 1973 – died May 24, 1973 Burried at Moses Lake, Washington.
