Employment: I am employed as the Director of Clinical Excellence for Advocate Health Care, the largest healthcare system in Chicagoland. We have 10 acute care hospitals (including 2 children's hospitals), many physicians' offices, several outpatient surgical centers, three large medical groups, and a home health network. My specialty is Infection Control and I oversee these programs at all sites of care. In addition, I lead the system's influenza and wound prevention efforts. I am a registered nurse with a master's degree in biological sciences and am currently in a PhD program in Health Services, specializing in management and policy. My family is my greatest joy!
